To construct a similar triangle with its sides 3/2 times the corresponding side of triangle ABC which point should b joined to B
Dear Student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query:
We follow these steps to construct angle ABC .
Step 1 : Construct any triangle ABC . and extend line BC to " Y " we get line BY and extend line BA to " D " we get line BD .
Now We construct another triangle with scale factor , As :
Step 2 :Below BC, draw a line BX As CBX is any acute angle and draw three arcs of equal radii on line BX that intersect at X1 . X2 and X3 AS :
BX1 = X1 X2 = X2 X3
Step 6 : Join X2 to C and than draw a line from X3 as parallel to X2C that intersect our line BY at C' .
Step 7 : Draw line from C' as parallel to CA that intersect line AB at A' .
We get triangle A'BC' whose sides are of corresponding sides of triangle ABC .
Hope this information will clear your doubts about Constructions.
