To stitch a trouser, 1m 30 cm cloth is needed. Out of 106 m cloth, how many trousers can be stitched and how much cloth will remain

Dear Student,

cloth required for one trouser=1.30m = 130cm
total cloth = 106m=10600cm
Number of trouser = Total cloth/ cloth for one trouser
        = 10600/130
     = 81.53
Therefore Number of trouser = 81
Cloth required for 81 trouser = 81×130 = 10530cm =105.3m
Cloth remaining = 10600-10530= 70cm =0.7m
