Given below are few tricks that will help you.

• on - used to show the placement of something; the days of the week etc.
  • Example - The show is on Monday
  • The book is on the table
• in - to show that something is placed in a particular spot; to show the time during the day; to refer to an year
  • Example - The boys are in the class
  • We got married in 2006
  • There was a shower in the morning.
• under - to show where a thing is placed.
  • The children hid under the table
