False, forest fires and the volcanic eruptions also causes water pollution if, the volcanic ash and the residue of the burnt trees and plants is passed into the water bodies.Sometimes air pollution caused due to volcanic eruption and forest fires is carried back down to Earth as contaminated rain or snow, which dissolves in watercourses or oceans causing what's known as atmospheric deposition. In other words, the air pollution becomes water pollution.
