Therefore for body of mass 1kg

= 1/2 X 1kg X v12= KE --(i)

Again,

KE= 1/2 X 4kg X v22---(ii)

Comparing 1 and 2,

We get

=1/2 X 1kg X v12=1/2 X 4kg X v22

=v12/v22=4

= v1/v2= 2--(i)

Mass of body 1/ mass of body 2 = 1/4---(ii)

Multiiplying (i) X (ii)

=1/4 X 2

=1/2

= 1 : 2

Therefore ratio of momentum of 1: 2 = 1:2
