Determine the magnitude of the electric field  in the broad side on position at a distance of  0.30 m from this dipole . If the dipole  be rotated through  90 degree . then what will be the intensity of the field.??

Electric filed on broad side on position is given by

Given that r = 0.3 m

2a = 2.5 × 10–3 m

q = 2.4 × 10–6 C

So,

As we rotate the dipole by 90° 

Intensity of the field will not be affected.  That will be same.
