Radius of outer circle , R = 14 cm

radius of inner circle, r = 7 cm

required area  =  πR2 - r2 = 227 142 - 72 = 227196 - 49 = 227147 = 462 cm2

radius=14cm

a= 3.14*14*14=615.44sq.cm

area of a smaller circle=

radius=7

a=3.14*7*7=153.86sq.cm

gap between them=615.44-153.86=

461.98sq.cm
