Hi! Here is the answer to your question Let volume of the tank be V Let the time taken by pipe of smaller radius to fill the tank be x hours ∴The time taken by pipe of larger radius to fill the tank is (x – 9) hours

∴ Time taken by pipe of smaller radius of fill the tank is 18 hours Time taken by pipe of larger radius to fill the tank is (18 – 9) = 9 hours Cheers!
