You have been asked to participate in a debate competition on the topic 
"Community service once a week should be introduced in all the schools and should be graded"
write the speech in about 200 words either for or against the motion.


also please tell the format and imp. points would be on the basis of debate or speeech.

This is a creativity-based question which you should attempt to answer on your own. 

Points for the motion:

1. Community service inculcates a respect for others and social responsibility. 
2. It helps students meet different kinds of people outside their immediate social circles. 
3. It helps with building organising and leadership skills. 
4. A grading system would make the students take it seriously. 

Points against the motion:

1. Community service, if mandatory, takes time away from actual studies, which is of paramount importance. 
2. It might expose impressionable children to people who might not be a beneficial influence. 
3. Working might interfere with leisure and sleep, which are also as important as studies. 
4. Even if community service was included, grading it would send the wrong message. Helping others should not be subject to evaluation. 

As for the format of the speech, follow these in order:

1. State your opinion, for or against the motion. 
2. State points in your favour. 
3. Counter the points of the opposing opinion. 
4. Sum up and establish your position.
