We treat water as a solid .For each atom average energy is 3KbT .Water molecule has three atoms (2-Hydrogen and 1-Oxygen). So U=3×3KbT×Na=9RT We know that, C=∆Q/∆T=∆U/∆T=9R (Kb=Boltzmann's constant R=Universal gas constant Na=Avogadro's no. T=Temperature C=Specific heat capacity U=Internal energy
