Dear Student ,

Vaishali was the capital of the Vrijji mahajanapada. Vaishali was a city of ancient India , which was located in present-day Bihar. Vaishali  is now an archaeological site. Vaishali has taken its name from King Vishal , a king of Mahabharata age. Vaishali is considered as a great Buddhist Pilgrimage and is also the birthplace of Lord Mahavira.
