Honesty is a thing that we learn from Gulliver. He himself says that lying is not a part of his life. In Lilliput he comes to know that lying is a capital punishment and is considered worse than stealing. In the country of the Houyhnhnms, he is surprised to learn that the Houyhnhnms have no concept of what it means to lie. There is complete honesty in their land. Other thing that we learn from Gulliver is not to underestimate any one based on their looks. Finally, it is always advantageous to have good linguistic skills.
