a) There are many birds found in the rainforests of Amazon Basin. They include :
1.The Hyacinth Macaw : This is one of the most beautiful bird found here. It is considered as the longest flying parrot.
2. Blue Fronted Amazon : an active participant in the rainforest. It has a yellow face and blue patch on its forehead.
3. Scarlet Macaws : It is the most beautiful bird found here.
4. Spectacled Owl : They have a relaxed method of hunting than other species.
5. Plum Throated Cotinga : It is a must see bird. It feeds on fruits and insects.
Toucans, humming birds and bird of paradise are commonly found in the rainforests of the Amazon.
 

c) Tributaries are the branches of a river, starting high up in a watershed and slowly working their way down to join other tributaries and eventually the mainstream, which drains to the sea.
Tributaries come in a wide range of shapes and sizes, and the study of tributaries is a topic of interest for some biologists, because it is possible to use tributaries to follow pollution and various living organisms like invasive exotics back to their source.
