Virus may either contain a DNA or RNA while viroids contain only RNA in circular form. Also RNA lack a capsid which is present in Virus. Virus are infectious to both plants and animals while viroids are infectious to plants only

Various classes of Fungi based on

1. Mycelium:

a)Aseptate: Eg: Phycomycetes, :Rhizopus and Mucor

b)Septate: Eg: Baasidiomycetes, Ascomycetes: Neurospora,Puccinia

2. Types of Spores:

1. Phycomycetes: Asexual and sexual spores with motile flagella

2.Ascomycetes: Spores are beared on ascus(cup)-shaped structure

3. Deuteromycetes: No Definite stage known

4. Basidiomycetes:Club type spores produced
