Was Anne right when she said that the world would not be interested in musing of 13 year old girl?( From the Diary of Anne Frank )

Dear Student,

Anne was wrong when she said that the world would not be interested in the musings of a thirteen year old because  her diary is read even today and has become a literary classic. That is because it serves as an important social document of the Holocaust, commenting upon one of the darkest periods in the history of mankind through the perspective of a young Jewish girl. Anne's
diary is written as a frank and intimate conversation with a dear friend. The diary is like Anne's secret confidante with whom she not only shares the daily occurrences of her life but also her innermost thoughts and feelings. Candour and compassion, perceptiveness and good observational skills are evident from her writings. Her prose is extremely lucid and evocative, touching our hearts as we read it knowing what happened to her and her family. She grows up in the pages of that diary and we also get brilliant pen portraits of the people in her life drawn with deftness and understanding of their characters. It is this easy conversational tone that engages the reader and also brings out the poignancy and pathos of her story.
