Water flows through a horizontal pipe of variable cross section. The pressure is 1cm of mercury column when the velocity 35cms-1 . Find the pressure at a point where the velocity is 60cms-1 .
pls answer the question with the same values , don'thyperlink a sum of the same kind.
Thank u sooo much

Dear Student,
 Apply Bernoulli's Theorem

Since pipe is at same horizontal level

Given That P1 = 0.01 m of Hg = 1333.2 Pa

v1 = 0.35 m/s

v2 = 0.6m/s

P2 = ?

ρ = 1000 kg/m3

1333.2 + 0.5 × 1000 (0.35)2 = P2 + 0.5 × 1000 (0.6)2

1333.2 + 61.25 = P2 + 180

P2 = 1214.45 Pa
here 1cm of Hg =1333.2Pa
so 1Pa=1/1333.2 cm of Hg
1214.45pa=1214.45/1333.2cm of Hg
=.91cm of mercury
