water is flowing at the rate of 6km/hr through a pipe of diameter 14cm into a rectangular tank which is 60m long and 22m wide.

Determine the time in which the level of the water in the tank will rise by 7cm.

r=7cm =7/100

h=6km/hr =100m/min

vol. of the pipe= 22/7*7/100*7/100*100

=1.54

vol.of rectangle=60m*22*7/100

=13.2*7

time taken=vol. of rectangle/vol.ofpipe

=13.2*7/1.54

=6*10

=60mins =1 hr
