We can see objects when the light reflected from the object falls upon our eyes. Why can't walls act as a mirror even the light is reflected through walls and reach our eyes?

Dear Student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query:
  •  Mirror is made up of a very smooth surface, whereas wall is not made up of a smooth surface.
  • Smooth surfaces reflect the incident light to more extent, where as rough surfaces absorb most of the incident light.
  • Moreover, the reflection from wall is not  a regular reflection, instead, it is an irregular / diffused reflection. Hence, the reflected light from walls can't form the image and wall can't act as a mirror.
