We can tell whether a reaction will be spontaneous or not even by the Gibb's free energy.
$∆\mathrm{G}=∆\mathrm{H}-\mathrm{T}∆\mathrm{S}$
Now, for endothermic process, ΔH is positive. Therefore, if TΔS becomes greater then ΔH, then the value of ΔG will be negative and thus, the reaction will become spontaneous.
Therefore, various terms must be considered for telling the spontaneity of a reaction.
