what are base band, band width and fading ?

Dear Student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query:

BASE BAND: The frequency of the signal prior to its transmission or modulation is known as the base band of the signal.

BANDWIDTH: The difference between the maximum and minimum frequency of band of signal is known as its bandwidth.

FADING: The deviation in the attenuated signal over the distance of propagation during its transmission is known as the fading of a signal.

Hope this information will clear your doubts about (Communication systems).

Baseband --- it refers to the band of frequencies of the original signal( signal not changed by modulation) as is produced by the source of information.

Bandwidth-- it is the difference between the maximum and minimum frequency of a band

fading -In wireless communications, fading is deviation of the attenuation affecting a signal over certain propagation media.
or
it is the Loss in the strength of the signal with distance

fading may either be due to multipath propagation, referred to as multipath induced fading, or due to shadowing from obstacles affecting the wave propagation, sometimes referred to as shadow fading.
