What are determiners ???

Dear student,
Determiners are used before the noun or before the adjectives which describe a noun. They cannot be placed after a noun.
For example- The cans are recyclable.
                      My book is missing.
In the given sentences, 'the' and 'my' are determiners as they are used before the nouns 'cans' and 'book'.
Regards.

a determiner is a word that introduces a noun. It always comes before a noun, not after, and it also comes before any other adjectives used to describe the noun.
