what are micro bodies?? give two examples ??
Dear student,
Please find below the link to the asked query
Microbodies are cell organelles, roughly spherical or ovoid in shape, bound by a single membrane. They are usually 0.5 to 1 micrometre in diameter. They contain enzymes such as oxidases, catalases and other additional degradative enzymes.Their main forms are peroxisomes and glyoxisomes. Oxidases found in peroxisomes use molecular oxygen in reactions to oxidize organic molecules. They are present in both plant and animal cells.
