E.g. ClAp = 1 vowel sound= Mono-syllable
A word with 1 syllable is called a mono=syllable
A word with 2 syllables is called a bi-syllable or disyllabic words. E.g. thrEshOld
A word with 3 syllables is called a tri-syllable word or trisyllabic word. E.g. mEtAphOr
A word with more than one syllable.E.g. Windmill, Raspberries
