what are subordinating coordinating clauses??

Subordinating conjunctions are used to join two clauses one of which is dependent upon the other.

For example:

after, before, although, till, unless, while, that, if, since, than, etc.

A coordinating conjunction is used to join two independent clauses.

For example:

He wanted to buy some clothes, so he went for shopping.
