​​1. Angular collencyma: It has thickenings on the intercellular points of contact. It is found in the members of family Lamiaceae.
2. Tangetial collenchyma: It has thickenings on the tangential face of cell wall. e.g. Members of Geraniaceae.
3. Annular collenchyma: It has uniform thickenings on the cell wall. e.g. Equisetum
