1.Water forms 60-65% of our body and it is extremely important as it provides the           medium in which various reactions of our body occur.
 2. It also provides the medium for transportation of substances.
3. The body requires water to maintain the volume of blood and other fluids.Water is necessary for the dissolution and dispersion of vitamins, minerals, glucose, amino acids and other nutrients.
4. Water also assists with the digestive process. It helps break down food, aids in the movement of food through the intestines and carries waste products and toxins out of the body through urine and feces.
5. Water is essential for regulating body temperature through thermoregulation.
