What are the advantages of electroplating ?????????????????????

Please answer this question as soon as possible till 1st November

Chromium is a shiny metal, which prevents objects from corrosion, scratches, etc. However, since chromium metal is very expensive, objects cannot be made from it. Therefore, a layer of chromium is used to deposit on objects through the process of electroplating. Hence, chromium plating is done on parts of vehicles, burners, bathroom taps, bicycle handle bars, bicycle rims, etc.

Electroplating is the process of depositing a layer of metal over another metal or any other object using electricity. Electroplating is used to make ornaments by depositing a layer of gold on silver jewelleries.

Advantages of Electroplating -

Electroplating changes the chemical, physical, and mechanical properties of the workpiece. An example of a chemical change is when nickel plating improves corrosion resistance. An example of a physical change is a change in the outward appearance. An example of a mechanical change is a change in tensile strength or surface hardness

Oh!well............there are many advantages of electroplating but some are as follows:
1)It saves the metal from corrosion and rusting.
2)It makes the metal durable and lustrous.

it saves metal from corrosion and rusting ,it gives good lustrous look for cheap metals,it protects reaction of food with iron when it is electroplated with tin,it is useful in galvanising, and it has many other advantages.
