Uses of single-use plastic in our daily life are:
1. We use polythene bags to carry goods.
2. Water bottles and straws that we use to quench our thirst to drink water are made up of single-use plastic.
3. Plastic cutlery that we use to eat food on food stalls is made up of single-use plastic.
4. Plastic is widely used in the medical industry to keep medicines and fluids to avoid infections and microorganisms.
5. Plastics are an alternative to paper. Several trees are cut down every day to produce paper for different uses.

Advantages of Plastic:

1) They are light in weight.
2)They are strong,good and cheap to produce.
3) They are unbreakable
4) Used to make - Water bottles, pens, plastic bags, cups etc.
5) They are good water resistant and have good adhesive properties.
6) They can be easily moulded and have a excellent finishing.
7) They are corrosion resistant.
8) They are chemical resistant
9) Plastic is used for building, construction, electronics, packaging? and transportation industries.
10) They are odourless.
