CNG is comparatively lightweight because of greater no. of hydrogen atoms and as being gas, it is safer and can leave to atmosphere easily so it could be a good source of fuel in cars, motors, and industries, etc. which cause huge pollution so that by using CNG the pollution level is decreased and safety is increased.

While, LPG is heavier than air and so does not release after the leakage and so very unsafe in industries but it is useful in cooking as the cooking needs a continuous supply of fuel which maintains flame of the gas stove and so the LPG as being liquefied, fulfill all the requirements of cooking fuel.
