What are the advantages over primary data and secondary data ?

The primary data has been collected from the source of origin, whwereas thesecondary data is collected froim the secondary source. The secondary data is the data which are already in existance and has been collected for some other purpose other than answering the questions in hand, whereas the primary data are not already in existance. The primary data is costlier in terms of time and money and efforts are involved, whereas the secondary data is les costlier in terms of time and money and the efforts are not involved. The primary data need not be adjusted because they are collected for the first time and for a specific objective, whereas the secondary datas are neede to be adjusted to suit the object of study as they are already in exisitance and has been collected for some other purpose.Hope this helps you...!!Cheers..!!
