What are the chief pollutants of the atmosphere which aremost likely to deplete the ozone layer(a) Sulphur di-oxide(b) Carbon-di-oxide(c) Nitrogen oxides and fluoro-carbon(d) Carbonmonon oxide.

Dear Student
C) Nitrous oxide and fluoro carbon mostly play role in depletion of ozone layer. Nitrous oxide released from aircraft reacts with ozone layer to cause its thinning. Nitrous oxide is largest anthropogenic emission which hampers ozone. Likewise CFC leads to production of reactive chlorine atoms which reacts with ozone to deplete it. CFCs has already been banned to be used as refrigerants.
Hope this information will clear your doubts about topic.
