what are the differences between roadways, waterways and railways

Roadways-it is the means of transport through which we can travel through the road.
eg- car, bus, truck,etc.

Waterways-it is the means of transport through which we can travel through water.
eg- ship,boat,cruise, etc.

Railways-it is the means of transport through which we can travel through railway tracks.
eg- train, steam engine train, etc.
