Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query
Compartments present in a cells are as follows:
1. Cytoplasmic compartment- It contain various organelles like mitochondria, vacuole, lysosomes, peroxisomes, golgi apparatus, endoplasmic reticulum etc.
2. Nuclear compartment- It is a single organelle compartment comprising of nuclear matrix, nucleoli, chromosomes etc.

2. Nuclear compartment- It is a single organelle compartment comprising of nuclear matrix, nucleoli, chromosomes etc.
- Nuclear compartment is separated from cytoplasmic compartment through a nuclear membrane.
- Various organelles are separated from the contents of cytosol through membranes. e.g. mitochondria has its own membrane, vacuole has tonoplast etc.
- Cytosol is separated from extracellular matrix through plasm membrane.
