Manganese toxicity causes spots on leaves, also this toxicity causes chlorosis of leaves i.e leaves turning pale or yellow. The spot on leaves are formed because of accumulation of Manganese in tissues over a period. If toxicity level is very high function of root gets impaired and growth of plants stops.
