Few modern forest fire control methods are as follows:
1) The Government provides financial aid o state forest departments so that they may procure of hand tools, fire fighting equipment and fire resistant clothes, wireless sets. This aid also helped to set up fire watch towers, fire finders, creation of fire lines. Research can now be conducted along with providing training and publicity on fire fighting.
2) The Central Government also maintains an air operation wing was maintained
3) Central government is bringing the village forest protection committees constituted under the Joint Forest Management (JFM) programme to fight the fire accidents.
