what are the formulas of vedic maths. can u give me an example , we have been asked to explain a formula of vedic maths.

Addition is the basis of every mathematical calculation and is the most important arithmetic operator used in everyday calculations. Using the following method, one can do additions mentally.

 

 

Note:

This method is not described in Vedic Mathematics, but is very useful for calculating the sum of two numbers mentally.

CONSECUTIVE ADDITION

SUPPOSE YOU HAVE THE SUM:
24+25+26
ACCORDING TO THE NORMAL ADDITION METHOD WE WOULD SOLVE IT TAKING A LOT OF TIME. IF YOU ARE IN AN EXAM WITH A LACK OF TIME LEFT. USE THIS EASY METHOD AND SOLVE YOUR SUM WITHIN SECONDS.
TAKE THE MIDDLE NUMBER i.e. 25. MULTIPLY IT BY 3. 25*3=75. HERE IS YOUR ANSWER 75. THIS IS A VERY EASY METHOD. YOU CAN PERFORM IT IN A NORMAL ADDITION WAY TO VERIFY.
