Immediate cause of diarrhoea a virus – such as norovirus or rotavirus. Virus and bacteria enter the body through contaminated food and water. So, consuming contaminated food or water can be a contributory cause for diarrhoea

Tuberculosis (TB) is caused by a type of bacterium called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. So, bacterium is the immediate cause. While tuberculosis bacilli are a contributory cause of this disease, they are not sufficient alone to cause the disease. Other factors may include reduced immunity and nutrition as well as genetic factors.
