what are the main features of the mantle and the core?

THE MANTLE IS ONE OF THE THREE MAIN LAYERS OF THE EARTH.IT LIES BETWEEN THE INNERMOST LAYER, THE CORE AND THE THIN OUTERMOST LAYER , CRUST.THE MANTLE CONSISTS OF HOT,DENSE SEMISOLID ROCK AND IS ABOUT 2,900 KILOMETERS(1,800 MILES) THICK.MOVEMENT IN MANTLE CAUSES VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS AND EARTHQUAKES.

THE CORE,BENEATH THE MANTLE,IS THE DEEPEST AND HOTTEST LAYER OF THE EARTH.IT IS ALMOST ENTIRELY MADE OF METAL.IT HAS TWO LAYER: THE INNER CORE AND THE OUTER CORE.THE OUTER CORE BORDERS THE MANTLE. THE INNER CORE IS SHAPED LIKE A BALL.

Mantle is 2900 km thick .It is divided into upper mantle and lower mantle.

Upper mantle is made mainly up of silica and magnesium.

Lower mantle is made up of mixed minerals such as iron, magnesium, aluminium and silicon. It has molten material called magma.

The radius of core is 3500 km.

It has minerals like nickel and iron.

It has upper and lower core.

upper core-2300km

lower core-1200km

Mantle, the second layer of the earth, it is located just below the Crust. It is made of Molten Magma. The average thickness of the Mantle is 2900 KM.
Core, the inner most layer is with a radius of 3500 KM. As it is made up of Nickel and Iron, it is call Nife. The centre core has very high temperature and pressure.

Mental it lies between the Crust and core the average density ranges between 3.5 to 5.5 gram per cubic metre the temperature in the Mantle is very high Magma is found in this layer for the average radius of the core is about 3500 kilometre it the temperature of this layer varies between two thousand two hundred degree Celsius and 5000 fire degree Celsius the average density ranges between 5.0 and 13.0 gram per cubic centimetre
