1) Before giving the electrical connections to the circuit, power supply must be switch off.
2) All the electrical connections must be properly arranged.
3) Voltmeter and ammeter must be of proper range.
4) Voltage knob of the regulated power supply should be minimum and current knob should be maximum.
5) Take care of the direction of current and polarity of voltage.
6) The plug key must be inserted during the time of reading.
