Electromagnetic radiation is reflected or absorbed mainly by several gases present in the Earth's atmosphere.This gases include water vapour, carbon dioxide, and ozone. A lot of the electromagnetic radiation is absorbed by the atmosphere, with the exceptions of radio waves, microwaves, and visible light.
