What are the reasons that the number and kind of organisms are not constant?

The organisms are reproducing continuously which increases their number. At the same time the number of organisms reduces due to death also. Thus, the number or organisms is not constant. It always changes. The kind of organisms is also not constant. Due to constant change in environment the organisms are also undergoing changes. Evolution is also changing the organisms morphologically as well as genetically.
