answer asap.. got an exam..

The basic rule of change of pronouns in reported speech is that the pronoun (subject) of the direct speech is changed into pronoun of the reporting verb or object(person).

1. First person pronouns (I, me, our, us, mine or ours)  in direct speech change according to the subject of the reporting verb.

For example:

She said, "I will not  go to school today."

She said that she will not go to school that day.

2. Second person pronouns (you, she, he, it etc.) in direct speech change according to the object of the reporting verb.

For example:

He said to  me, "You are responsible for the delay."

He told me that I was responsible for the delay.

3. Third person pronouns (he, she, it, they) in direct speech will not change in the indirect speech.

For Example:

She said, "He is a good boy."

She said that he was a good boy.
