The differences between gilli danda and cricket is that some rules are different and gilli danda is a game which was actually played by the poor ones or we can even say the villagers but afterwards the game had become popular over the whole india.And gilli danda is plaid with sticks ond a small piece of wood in a shape wich is simmiliar to a wickets bail.And gilli danda is the game which was introduced or played before cricket.

And cricket is played with a bat and ball.The bat is made up of wood from willow trees which are shaped afterwards.Cricket is a game which the rich peole in in olden days played and now everyone not only rich but all play.Cricket is now a game which is followed as a religion in india everyone plays it.Cricket was acctually a game by England.

So You Can Say That Gilli danda is a type of cricket played in India.And Cricket a game like gilli danda playes in other countries.

Now The Similiarities are that both are hit high and they have many similiar rules also.
