Similarities between the Rampa and Munda Rebellion were:

a. Both the rebellions aimed at redressing the growing grievances of the Tribal Communities.

b. The rebellions were targeted against the unjust and oppressive laws of the British particularly Forest Laws that prevented the tribes from moving freely in the forests, practice Jhum cultivation and lead their traditional way of living.

c. Rampa and Munda rebellions were also targeted against British contractors and middlemen, who exploited the tribal workers .
