what are the two methods of testing an insulator or conductor?
how does electroplating takes place?
For answer to your first question you can look at the answer given by your friend prince, while the answer to the second question is given below:
The process of depositing a layer of any desired metal on another material by means of electricity is called electroplating. It is one of the most common applications of chemical effects of electric current. The metal to be electroplated is made the cathode, while the anode is the other metal which has to be deposited on this metal. After passing electric current through the electrolyte, the metal from the anode is deposited on the cathode.
Also note that there are such no modern or ancient electroplating methods. There might be a difference in the instruments and the techniques that are used now and were used earlier, however the basic principle in electrolysis is the same, that is passing current through a solution to deposit a layer of desired metal on an object.
@ Prince : Well done!
