What can we do if it is -24 square root??

You will not get things like this till 10th standard.
You will be introduced with a type of numbers called complex numbers in 11th class.
In 11th you will learn that square root of -1 is i which is called iota.
so, for square root of -24 we will calculate square root of 24 and then take multiplication of i with it.
But things like this will be introduced to you in 11th class.
