What cause pressure and cyclone

Dear Student,

Cyclone is a tropical storm with winds blowing in large spiral around a relatively calm centre known as 'eye'. It is formed over warm water. The eye can extend up to 50 Km and the hurricane may extend outward by hundreds of kilometer. Cyclones last from several hours to more than 2 weeks over open waters.

A cyclone is a violent storm in which the air goes round in circles. It is formed when low atmospheric pressure is created over the sea. It rotates clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere and anti-clockwise in the Hemisphere. It is a violently rotating windstorm. Cyclones are dangerous and begin as thunderstorms.
