what causes leaves of the grasses to roll in dry weather ?
is it coz of low water concentration in soil leading to loss of transport of water n hence coz of that the leaves rool to reduce transpiration ( just a guess ) ??

hey @bhavana:

leaves roll up during summer conditions just to reduce the rate of transpiration(loss of water from aerial parts of plants in form of water vapour)

it's simple logic application,if leaves roll up,less surface area of leaves will be exposed to sunlight and hence water lost will be in less amount

hope it helps!
