What changes are noticed in Mrs Pearson's husband and her children at the end of the play?

The play 'Mother's Day' talks about the importance of a woman, her life and her individuality. A mother is not just a servant to her family members but also a ruler of her own life. She has an identity of her own which is not supposed to be humiliated by anyone. Mrs. Pearson was treated without any respect in her own home but the insensitive Pearson family finally realises the importance of a selfless mother. It is a great day for Mrs. Pearson who doesn't get the love and affection that she deserves from her family. In this sense, it is her day; a turning point in her life.
