What did the farmer John Byro tell the two boys when they accidentally met him with his horse in their custody?
Dear student,
John Byro commented that although the tooth of the horse which he saw with Mourad matched that of his own stolen horse's tooth, he wanted to refrain from accusing the latter of stealing his horse. Byro said that he would have sworn it was his own horse had he not known the fame that Mourad's family had for their honesty. A suspicious man would have believed his eyes instead of his heart but John Byro was not like that. He let them go on his way and did not bring up the issue out of respect for the Garoghlian family's reputation for honesty.
Regards
